The Spares Provisioning Department provides an end to end service for customers around the world. The Department supports fleets of vehicles in over 40 countries. In addition to supporting over 98% of the British Army’s inventory of armoured fighting vehicles legacy, Alvis Vickers Limited (AVL) also comprehensively supports military products that are still operationally active after 35 years service. Stocks of key components are held and a spares factoring operation based on our unique access to vehicle drawings and data is available. The range of services provided by AVL includes the refurbishment of major assemblies, configuration and obsolescence management of vehicles, assemblies and components.
The AVL Product Support Department is the only commercial organisation that can provide a comprehensive range of spares and components certified fit for service on the extensive range of Alvis Vickers tracked and wheeled military vehicles.
